Parkland student Cameron Kasky confronts Florida Senator Marco Rubio at a CNN town hall and asks him point blank: “Senator Rubio, can you tell me now that you will not accept a single donation from the NRA in the future?” After stumbling and evading the question, Kasky asks again. Finally Rubio concedes that YES, he will continue to take NRA blood money. Later, Rubio responds to his ass kicking by tweeting…

“Banning all semi-auto weapons may have been popular with the audience at #CNNTownHall, but it is a position well outside the mainstream.”

Here, however, are the FACTS:

American voters support stricter gun laws 66–31 percent, the highest level of support ever measured by the independent Quinnipiac University National Poll, with 50–44 percent support among gun owners and 62–35 percent support from white voters with no college degree and 58–38 percent support among white men. – Quinnipac Poll (Feb 20, 2018)

If you think Americans are largely unmoved by the mass shootings, you should think again. Support for stricter gun laws is up 19 points in little more than 2 years. – Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

Cameron Kasky, the student who confronted Senator Rubio received death threats on his Facebook page. Cameron, who was fighting AGAINST violence was threatened with his life. Nice, huh? Cameron decided to delete his Facebook account.

Quotes from *cream of the crop* conservatives:

“It’s interesting that so many of these people that commit the mass murders end up being Democrats. But the media doesn’t talk about that either.” – NY Republican Rep., Claudia Tenney

“Many in legacy media love mass shootings. You guys love it,” Dana Loesch (NRA) said. “Now I’m not saying that you love the tragedy. But I am saying that you love the ratings. Crying white mothers are ratings gold to you and many in the legacy media in the back (of the room).”

O really? “Students” are planning a nationwide rally? Not left wing gun control activists using 17yr kids in the wake of a horrible tragedy? – Tweet from former Republican Georgia Rep. Jack Kingston.

Donald Trump to the NRA: You have a true friend and champion in the White House. (2017)

From CNN: “A little less than a year ago, on February 28, 2017, Trump signed a measure nixing a regulation aimed at keeping guns out of the hands of some severely mentally ill people.” (He killed a regulation that would have tightened background checks) Directly after the Parkland shooting, he tweeted this:

So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!

What is the answer to this mass murder epidemic in America? MORE FUCKING GUNS, of course.  “Highly trained, gun adept teachers/coaches would solve the problem instantly, before police arrive. GREAT DETERRENT!” Trump tweeted.

In the 2016 election, the NRA spent $11,438,118 to support Donald Trump—and another $19,756,346 to oppose Hillary Clinton. That’s over $31 million spent on one presidential race. (This doesn’t include the money they may have funneled via Russia.)

Here’s the Florida House at work… for the NRA. From The Washington Post:

The Florida House of Representatives was in session on Tuesday considering several issues. These included a motion to debate a bill banning the sale of assault weapons in the aftermath of the mass shooting that killed 17 people last week at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., and a resolution declaring pornography a public health risk.

The House chose not to consider the gun-control bill.

It later passed the resolution claiming that porn is dangerous.
